PLAIN TERMS, BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Terms & conditions
Version 1.3 · Effective when this service opens for registration.
1. Who provides Prism
Prism is provided by Prism Personality Range Assessment (PRA) (“we”, “us”). Our business address is London UK. Contact us about the service, a purchase, a complaint or cancellation at prism@safetyman.net.
2. What you are using
Prism is a personal and team insights profile for personal reflection and awareness of how people work together. It uses your answers to produce a current personality distribution across four styles and related guidance. It is not a psychological assessment, a clinical instrument, a diagnosis, professional advice or a basis for hiring, promotion or disciplinary decisions. Its original instrument and interpretive thresholds have not been psychometrically validated. A consistent calculation does not guarantee that an interpretation describes you accurately.
Ancient ideas about temperament provide historical inspiration only. Prism does not rely on bodily humours, claim that distinct personalities live within you, or treat historical beliefs as scientific evidence.
3. Eligibility and registration
This service is for people aged 18 or over taking the assessment for themselves. Give the name you want on your report and an email address you control. Your report name need not be your full legal name. Do not register someone else or submit answers on their behalf. You must accept these terms and acknowledge that you have read the privacy notice before the assessment opens.
Keep access to your email secure. Do not share recovery links. Sign out on a shared device. You may stop the assessment at any time; this does not create an obligation to buy anything.
4. The free summary
The assessment has 56 questions. There is no pass mark. Your free summary shows your colour percentages, leading combination and a brief explanation. Percentages describe relative shares in your answers, not fixed traits, population rankings or ability. Tied scores can produce a provisional order. Inconsistent responses may lead to a notice suggesting that you consider retaking.
5. The optional full report
A purchase unlocks the detailed report for the assessment selected at checkout. It covers strengths, potential limiters, under-used personality style, pressure patterns and guidance for working with other combinations. It includes a printable view which you can save as PDF using your browser. Reports are in British English and require a current browser with JavaScript, an internet connection and a PDF viewer if you save a PDF. No physical item is supplied. The purchase is a one-off payment, not a subscription. A new assessment is a separate report.
The product page and checkout show the applicable price, currency and taxes before you commit. Correct any billing errors before placing the order. Payments are handled through the payment method you select at WooCommerce checkout. We do not receive your full card details through the Prism plugin. We grant access after successful payment, subject to the digital-content choice below.
6. Delivery and access
You may request immediate access and separately acknowledge the effect on your cancellation right before checkout. If you make both choices, supply starts when you first open the paid report after payment. If you do not make both choices, report access starts after the 14-day cancellation period. Your order confirmation records your choice. Contact us if payment succeeds but access does not work.
We provide online access for 365 days from payment, unless you ask us to erase the assessment sooner or the purchase is cancelled or refunded. Save your report during this period. Downloads you save remain under your control. We cannot recall a copy you have shared or downloaded. If we cannot supply what you bought, contact us for an appropriate remedy.
7. Cancellation, refunds and your rights
You may cancel an eligible online purchase within 14 days of the contract being made. If you expressly request immediate supply and acknowledge that you lose your cancellation right once supply begins, that right ends when supply begins. If you do not make both choices, we delay access until the cancellation period has passed. Your statutory rights where digital content is faulty, not as described or not supplied are unaffected. There is no blanket “no refunds” rule.
To cancel, send us a clear statement by email. You may use this form: “To Prism Personality Range Assessment (PRA), prism@safetyman.net: I give notice that I cancel my contract for the following digital report: [order number]. Ordered on: [date]. Name: [name]. Email: [email]. Date: [date].” We will explain the outcome and any refund due. Any right you have under mandatory consumer law remains available.
8. Using your report
You may read, print and keep your report for personal use and choose to discuss it with others. Do not resell the instrument or report text, claim professional certification from it, misrepresent its validation, or use it to make employment or clinical decisions. Do not attack the service, bypass access controls or try to obtain someone else’s information.
9. Privacy and service communications
The separate privacy notice explains how we use your name, email, answers and purchase records. Accepting these terms is not consent to marketing. We use your information to provide the service you request and handle support and purchases on the bases described in that notice. We may send necessary access-recovery and order messages. No marketing subscription is created by this assessment.
10. Availability, changes and responsibility
We aim to provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We may need to interrupt it for maintenance or security. Contact us if an interruption prevents access to a paid report. We may update the service, but changes will not remove your accrued rights or reduce the report access already agreed for a paid purchase. Your acceptance record stores the terms in effect when you registered; a new purchase records the terms applicable to that purchase.
You remain responsible for the decisions you make after reflecting on a report. We do not exclude or limit liability where the law does not allow it, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
11. Complaints and applicable law
Contact us first using the details above so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms use the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights and court protections that apply where you live. Nothing in these terms deprives a consumer of those protections.
